Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute - Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Branch
AFBI is a Non-Departmental Public Body of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs. AFBI carries out high technology research and development, statutory, analytical, and diagnostic testing functions for DAERA and other Government departments, public bodies and commercial companies.
The Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Branch provides research, monitoring and technology transfer in support of evidence-based sustainable management of freshwater fisheries and marine resources in Northern Ireland.
