A signal post is a structure that supports the NIR signals. These are visual display devices which convey instructions or provide warning of instructions regarding the driver’s authority to proceed on the railway network.

The data has been captured via field survey carried out by Contracted Consultants to a sub-metre accuracy. The updates are carried out by Infrastructure Rail Division Staff within Translink on a sporadic basis; this is in keeping with railway line works etc.
