Back in Business rate support scheme applications and awards from April 2024

The information published in this table is based on data held by Land and Property Services (LPS). The information provided in the table is updated on a quarterly basis and is at month end. The names and alphabetical order of the District Councils relate to names as detailed currently in legislation. Information on applications is provided on the number of applications which have been received since the scheme relaunched on 15th May 2025. Information on awards is based on the number of occupancies, where an occupancy represents a liable person, persons, business or organisation at a property at a given time, that have been awarded Back in Business support on their rates, as part of the Back in Business support scheme launched in May 2024. The figures only include occupancies that have an occupancy start date on or after the 1st April 2024 and where there has been an award of Back in Business support of more than £0. Information on the amount awarded is the total amount for all District Councils at a point in time and as such, is subject to revision.
