A northern Ireland Railways Structure asset with a span or diameter greater than 450mm and less than 1800mm whose primary purpose is usually, but not exclusively, to permit water or services to pass under or adjacent to the railway, road or other NIR Infrastructure. This term excludes Third Party Pipelines.

A field survey was carried out along the NIR Line by Contracted Consultants. Any follow up surveying since 2007 has been carried out by Translink Infrastructure Division Engineers on a 12-18month basis.
