The data held in MERMAN fulfils the UK's mandatory monitoring requirements under the Oslo and Paris Convention (OSPAR), Joint Assessments and Monitoring Programme (JAMP). Within DAERA, this survey forms part of the Marine Phytoplankton and Chlorophyll work programme (MM(YY)-14)." ;
